September ‘24 Update: Audiobook!

Hi folks. I’ll try to do better about getting in the regular updates here. Life keeps life-ing relentlessly over here.

Top news is that production of an audiobook version of The Acquired is underway. All duties are being handled by me, personally. The good news is I can rely on my music studio for production, so the quality should be ok. The bad news is that I am not an actor, so, uh, manage expectations there please. I didn’t realize what an enormous undertaking an audiobook is (especially when you are recording in a room that should never be used for recording). Suffice to say, it’s going to take a couple to a few months to complete. When it’s done it will be available via Audible and whatever streaming platforms Amazon’s ACX serves (like Spotify).

In other news, I’ve put Project CD on hold indefinitely. Running into some plot obstacles I haven’t been able to get through, and I just have too many other irons in the fire right now. It happens. If it resurfaces later, I’ll let you know.
